An email notification is sent when an error occurs at your site — either from a charger or the local controller.
To avoid unnecessary alerts, notifications are delayed for a short period (the delay time differs between EU and North America). This allows the system to automatically restart the charger and resolve the issue without any action from you.
If the issue is not resolved after this period, an email notification will be sent to inform you.
We currently send alerts for the following error types:
| Error Code | Description according to OCPP 1.6 |
| NoError | No error to report |
| Unknown | Default value when the charger returns nothing |
| EV_COMMUNICATION_ERROR | EVSE can’t communicate with the EV |
| GROUND_FAILURE | Safety ground fault detected |
| HIGH_TEMPERATURE | Overheating detected in the connector or electronics |
| INTERNAL_ERROR | Internal software or hardware failure |
| LOCAL_LIST_CONFLICT | Local authorization list version mismatch |
| OTHER_ERROR | Unspecified or unknown fault |
| OVER_CURRENT_FAILURE | Current exceeded the allowed limit |
| POWER_METER_FAILURE | The meter is malfunctioning |
| POWER_SWITCH_FAILURE | Contactor or power switch malfunction |
| READER_FAILURE | RFID card reader error |
| RESET_FAILURE | Reset command failed |
| UNDER_VOLTAGE | Supply voltage dropped below the operational limit |
| OVER_VOLTAGE | Supply voltage exceeded the operational limit |
| WEAK_SIGNAL | Wireless or network signal strength is too low for reliable operation |
| CONNECTOR_LOCK_FAILURE | Mechanical locking of the connector to the EV inlet failed |
