What can I do if my vehicle doesn’t charge even though the ID is registered?

Modified on Wed, 8 Jan at 9:09 AM

If your vehicle doesn’t start charging, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check the authentication method:

Determine whether authentication is managed through ChargePilot or a billing backend.

If a billing backend is used, the RFID must be registered in the backend, not in ChargePilot. In this case, RFID names will only appear in the download of charging events and not in the dashboard.

Step 2: RFID registered in ChargePilot:

If RFID cards are also registered in the ChargePilot dashboard, authentication can be handled directly through ChargePilot. In this scenario, RFID names will appear in both the dashboard and the charging event logs.

Step 3: Verify connection to the billing backend:

Check for any connection issues with your billing backend. If issues are detected, please contact support for assistance.
