Step-by-Step Update Guide

  1. Ensure no cables are connected to the vehicle before and during the update. If cables are connected, the station may reject the update.
  2. We recommend starting the update with a limited number of charging stations before rolling it out to the entire site.
  3. Make sure to follow the correct version order when updating (see below). If the wrong version is selected, the station may reject the update, and an error can occur.

Important:

  • For all previously delivered devices (with software version <1.15.0), the “Timesync-Snapshot-2nd” must be installed once after the update or a factory reset. This is required only once.
  • The snapshot does not appear as a separate firmware version — the current firmware version (e.g. 1.17.1) will remain.

Troubleshooting

  1. Update rejected / not received
    1. Ensure you are using the correct version.
    2. Make sure no cables are connected and the station is available.
  2. Update aborted
    1.  If the station aborts the update and goes offline, wait a few minutes for it to come back online.
    2. If it does not come back online, it must be restarted locally via the circuit breaker.
  3. Other errors
    1. If other errors occur during the update and the station remains offline, please contact our support.
