Note: For newly commissioned ERK stations or existing ERK stations with this (or a higher) version, it is recommended to use the charger type ‚Alfen Eichrecht‘ in the ChargePilot backend, as this enables the RemoteStart function via our backend.

Step-by-step update guide

Preparation: Make sure that no cables are connected to the station before and during the update. If cables are connected, the station may reject the update.
Update sequence: Starting from firmware version 7.0.0, the encryption key between “A and B firmware versions” is no longer required.
