Compatible and supported

7.1.6
  • Display issues on Eve Single Pro-line and Eve Double Pro-line

7.1.0
  • Longer OCPP messages that are stored in the transaction database, which impacts performance on charging stations that have a short metervalue interval configured.
  • The remote start function via OCPP on Eichrecht chargers is not compatible with the older ChargePilot version (< 2.2).

Note: For newly commissioned ERK stations or existing ERK stations with this (or a higher) version, it is recommended to use the charger type ‚Alfen Eichrecht‘
in the ChargePilot backend, as this enables the RemoteStart function via our backend.

 preferred*

6.6.2

  • Error code 102 appears as a pop-up when (attempting to) start the transaction. The EV cannot begin charging.
  • Mismatched status messages from the charging station in StatusNotification.
  • The Plug & Charge function (no authentication) is no longer available for Eichrecht products. RFID is now mandatory for all Eichrecht products.
Not supported
 incompatible 7.3.0
  • For Smart Charging: TxProfile is not applied. Charger is charging using the fallback value instead.

 incompatible 7.2.0

  • For Smart Charging: TxProfile is not applied. Charger is charging using the fallback value instead.
 incompatible 7.0.2
  • In some cases, the timestamp of a transaction-related message may be incorrect after a restart or power outage during the charging session.
  • The remote start function via OCPP does not work with eichrecht chargers.
  • The remote start function via OCPP on Eichrecht chargers is currently not compatible with the current ChargePilot version (≤ 1.59).
 outdated

6.5 and below

  • Missing active energy measurand in MeterValues (6.1.0)
  • Update error problem (4.15.4)
  • An Eichrecht station (double) can become overloaded, leading to unsynchronized MeterValues. (6.5)
  • Remote logo update does not always work. (6.5)

* preferred : If the charger cannot keep up with the latest released firmware version and has to be downgraded, this version is considered the most stable one

Step-by-step update guide

  1. Preparation: Make sure that no cables are connected to the station before and during the update. If cables are connected, the station may reject the update.
  2. Update sequence: Starting from firmware version 7.0.0, the encryption key between “A and B firmware versions” is no longer required.
