There could be various reasons why your vehicle is not charging. Try the following steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Check the connectionUnplug and reconnect the charging cable at both the vehicle and, if possible, the charging station.
  2. AuthenticationHave you held your RFID card up to the station’s card reader? Some stations with a display will indicate if authentication is required.
  3. QueueYour vehicle may be in a queue due to temporary unavailability of charging power. Charging will start automatically as soon as power becomes available. You can view details about specific charging sessions in the ChargePilot dashboard.
  4. Gear positionFor some vehicles, such as the Renault Kangoo, the gear must be set to “P” (Park) for charging to begin.
  5. Improper connectionEnsure the charging cable is securely connected to both the vehicle and the charging station by unplugging and reconnecting.

If the issue persists, consult your vehicle’s manual or contact support for further assistance.
