Before starting the configuration, please check the charger firmware version complies with the latest compatible firmware version.


Connection to the charger

Local connection

Configuration on the charger display

  • Press the icon (iEnergyCharge) on the top left for 1.5s

Login Data:
PW: 202301

 

Network settings

Ethernet

Navigate to the Config_2 tab and configure the parameters as followes:

  • Router connection: disable

  • Static IP: enable

Since the internal charger router uses the domain 192.168.1.1 for internal communication, the charger should not be connected to the network in the same domain again

OCPP settings

Backend

Navigate to the Config_1 tab and configure the parameters as followes:

  • Network Connectin: Eth

  • Custom config: activate OCPP
    → Click on the set button to save the changes

  • Websocket: 

    • Available websocket: others 

    • Other: ws://172.22.0.1:9000

    • Click on the set button

      → Click on the set button to save the changes

OCPP ChargeBox ID

  • Serial number of the charger by default or according to the installation protocol

Other charger settings

Authorization settings

Navigate to the Config_1 tab

  • Configure the Parameters as follows:

    • Charging mode: Normal
      → Click on the set button to save the changes

Autocharge/Free charging settings

When this function is activated, charger starts transaction either with the identifier predefined in the charger, or with the EV MAC address (Plug & Charge).

Navigate to the Config_1 tab

  • Configure the Parameters as follows:

    • Charging mode: Plug and Charge
      → Click on the set button to save the changes

Save all changes and restart the charger

  • Navigate to the CCU_Info tab 

  • Click on the button “Quit the system/EXIT HMI” and confirm

  • After redirecting to the Linux Desktop, click on the “Sungrow Charger - Soft restart the charger” → a soft reset will execute

Deactivate Router Reboot settings

  • Connect the laptop to the charger router (use the most right free port)

  • Enter the router IP 192.168.1.1

  • Navigate to the Network → Celluar tab

  • Force Reboot: disable

  • Save the changes
