Firmware Update for Keba P40

Firmware version history 

* preferred : If the charger cannot keep up with the latest released firmware version and has to be downgraded, this version is considered the most stable one

The firmware update can be carried out in P40 web interface (least with v1.3.0) or via Keba eMobility app.
Update via ChargePilot web interface is not supported currently.

Step-by-Step Update Guide 

1. Ensure no cables are connected to the vehicle before and during the update. If cables are connected, the station may reject the update.
2. We recommend starting the update with a limited number of charging stations before rolling it out to the entire site.
3. Make sure to follow the correct version order when updating (see below). If the wrong version is selected, the station may reject the update, and an error can occur.

Troubleshooting

1. Update rejected / not received
   1. Ensure you are using the correct version.
   2. Make sure no cables are connected and the station is available.
      
2. Update aborted
   1.  If the station aborts the update and goes offline, wait a few minutes for it to come back online.
   2. If it does not come back online, it must be restarted locally via the circuit breaker.
      
3. Other errors
   1. If other errors occur during the update and the station remains offline, please contact our support.
