Alpitronic | Hypercharger - Configuration for ChargePilot

Before starting the configuration, please check the charger firmware version complies with the latest compatible firmware version.

Connection to the Charger

Local Connection

  • Connect to the website via the standard IP

  • Continue with the configuration

The used Laptop’s IP has to be in range 192.168.1.XX (except 100)

Authentication & First Connection to Web Interface

  • On first connection to the web interface, you are presented with the prompt on the right.

  • Log in via admin credentials

Username: admin
Password: charger MAC address

Network settings

Preferred Network

  • Change Default: Wired Connection

Ethernet Configuration

  • Set IP-Configuration: Automatic DHCP

 

 

 

OCPP settings

Backend Configuration

  • Set ChargePoint ID

    • chargePointIdentity must be identiacal to the Device ID in the Admin UI. Default: charger serial number

  • Set msgEnginetype: json

  • Set Websocket URL: ws://172.22.0.1:9000/

  • Save configuration

OCPP Keys

  • Configure the parameters as follows:

    • ChargePointMaxProfileEnabled: true

  • Save configuration

  • Reboot the charger

Other Charger Settings

Authorization settings

  • Configure the parameters as follows:

    • AutoCharge: false

    • HycKioskModeEnabled: false

  • Save configuration

  • Reboot the charger

Autocharge/Free charging settings

When this function is activated, charger starts transaction either with the identifier predefined in the charger, or with the EV MAC address (Plug & Charge).

 Autocharge

  • Set Autocharge: true

  • The EV MAC address must be stored in the backend correspondingly

  • Save configuration

  • Reboot the charger

Free charging

  • Set HycKioskModeEnabled: true

  • Save the predefined identifiers in the backend: hycKioskTag1 , hycKioskTag2 , …
    The numbering must correspond to the number of connectors. 

  • Save configuration

If less than 3 IDs (= max. number of parallel charging session) are configured in the parameter HycKioskMofeTagIds, the charging station will use generic IDs: HycKioskTag1..n
